The Thermon KSX™ is a premium self-regulating electric heat tracing cable specifically engineered for high heat loss freeze protection and process temperature maintenance in demanding industrial environments. Designed for applications where steam cleaning is not required, KSX delivers higher power output than standard self-regulating heating cables while maintaining exceptional energy efficiency and long-term reliability.
Unlike constant wattage heating cables, KSX continuously adjusts its heat output according to the surrounding temperature. As ambient temperatures decrease or heat loss increases, the cable automatically produces more heat. When temperatures rise, the thermal output decreases accordingly, reducing energy consumption and preventing overheating.
