Description
Crane F625 Fully-Lugged Gearbox Operated Butterfly Valve
Heavy-Duty PN16 Fully-Lugged Butterfly Valve for HVAC, Water & Industrial Systems
The Crane F625 is a fully-lugged, gearbox-operated butterfly valve designed for reliable isolation in commercial HVAC, potable water, district energy, and industrial piping systems. Constructed from high-strength ductile iron, fitted with an aluminium bronze disc, 420 stainless steel shaft, and a WRAS-approved EPDM liner, the F625 delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, dependable sealing, and smooth manual operation through its enclosed gearbox.
The fully-lugged body allows dead-end service, enabling one side of the pipeline to be disconnected while the opposite side remains in service. Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 593, the F625 is suitable for BS EN 1092-2 PN16flanges and is designed for long-term, maintenance-free performance.

Benefits
Fully-Lugged Body for Maximum Installation Flexibility
Unlike wafer or semi-lugged valves, the F625 features a fully-lugged body, allowing downstream pipework to be removed while maintaining pressure on the upstream side. This makes maintenance faster and reduces plant downtime.
Smooth Gearbox Operation
The robust enclosed gearbox significantly reduces operating torque, providing smooth and controlled valve movement. It is particularly suitable for larger valve sizes where lever operation becomes impractical.
WRAS Approved for Potable Water
The EPDM seat is WRAS approved for potable water applications between -10°C and +80°C, making the valve suitable for drinking water distribution as well as HVAC services.
Excellent Corrosion Protection
A fully bonded epoxy coating protects the ductile iron body, while the aluminium bronze disc provides excellent resistance to corrosion in chilled water, heating water, and clean water systems. The coating is suitable for C3 Mediumenvironmental conditions.
Maintenance-Free Performance
The resilient EPDM liner and precision-engineered internal components eliminate routine lubrication requirements, reducing maintenance costs throughout the valve’s service life.
