Description
Crane F624 Fully-Lugged Lever Operated Butterfly Valve
PN16 WRAS Approved Fully-Lugged Butterfly Valve for HVAC, Water Distribution & Industrial Applications
The Crane F624 is a fully-lugged, lever-operated butterfly valve designed to provide reliable isolation and long-term performance in HVAC, potable water, and industrial piping systems. Manufactured from high-strength ductile iron, equipped with an aluminium bronze disc, 420 stainless steel shaft, and a WRAS-approved EPDM liner, the F624 delivers excellent sealing performance, corrosion resistance, and easy operation.
Unlike semi-lugged butterfly valves, the fully-lugged body allows the valve to be installed at the end of a pipeline or on one side of a flanged connection without requiring a downstream flange, making it ideal for maintenance isolation and dead-end service. It is manufactured in accordance with BS EN 593 and is compatible with BS EN 1092-2 PN16 flanges.

Benefits
Fully-Lugged Body Design
The F624 features a fully-lugged valve body, allowing one side of the pipeline to be disconnected while the opposite side remains pressurized. This simplifies maintenance and replacement work while minimizing system downtime.
WRAS Approved for Potable Water
The EPDM liner is WRAS approved for potable water applications between -10°C and 80°C, making the valve suitable for drinking water systems, public buildings, healthcare facilities, and commercial developments.
Excellent Corrosion Protection
The valve body is protected by a fully bonded epoxy paint system, while the aluminium bronze disc provides excellent resistance to corrosion in water and HVAC applications. The coating is suitable for C3 (Medium) corrosive environments.
Safe & Reliable Operation
The anti-blow-out stem design improves operational safety, while the lightweight aluminium lever enables smooth quarter-turn operation with minimal effort.
Maintenance-Free Performance
The resilient EPDM seat and robust internal components provide long service life without routine lubrication or adjustment, reducing maintenance costs over the valve’s lifecycle.
