The Crane Fluid Systems DA931 Variable Orifice Double Regulating Valve (VODRV) is a high-performance balancing valve designed for accurate flow regulation, flow measurement, and isolation in medium and large hydronic systems. Manufactured from ductile iron with ANSI Class 125 flanged connections, the DA931 is ideally suited for commercial buildings, district cooling, district heating, and industrial process water applications.
Its Y-pattern globe valve design incorporates two P84 pressure test points, allowing engineers to accurately measure differential pressure and calculate system flow during commissioning. The double regulating mechanism enables the valve to be closed for maintenance and then reopened to its original preset position, eliminating the need for system rebalancing.
